Maria's love of classical theatre began as a teenager when she was awarded a student fellowship with the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington, DC. After high school, she moved to New York City to study at the American Academy of Dramatic arts, and spent the following decade working as an actress and producer in New York's downtown theatre scene. She is co-founder of Infinite Variety Productions, a New York based women's theatre collective focused on historical ensemble pieces. In 2014, Maria left New York to begin anew in London, enrolling in LAMDA's classical performance masters program, where she met Erica Martin. The rest is beautiful history.
